My boyfriend and I arrived on a Wednesday morning to celebrate my birthday for a few days in Rancho Santa Fe. The town of Rancho Santa Fe was wonderful, with restaurants that you can easily walk to. The town almost felt like a place out of a fairytale. You pull into this unassuming driveway where you are greeted in front of a beautiful outdoor fireplace. The reception staff was wonderful and immediately took us to our room-the most romantic room ever! It had a wood burning fireplace and the most incredible luxurious bed. Even though it was July I told my boyfriend he had to light the fireplace and turn down the A/C. Ha! I never miss an opportunity for a real fireplace in your hotel room. The hotel even supplies you with a fire logs to use at your leisure. The pool was lovely and small, not your typical big hotel pool, but perfect for the few days we were there. The food at the Inn was absolutely delish, with a super fun bartender (or should I say mixologist) that made us the coolest smoking tequila drink.
How have I lived in Southern California all these years and never knew about this little hideaway?
